Ein Shemer

Air Base - Air Force military base located in Israel, Kibbutz Ein Shemer on a mountain south of Caramel in Isr ael. Airport was built in 1945 by the British. It served as the b ase of the Royal Air Force [1]. In 1948 the airport was taken ove r control of the Israelis. In 2001 the planned construction on the premises Arrow anti-missile missile batteries, however, strong objections have prevented the inhabitants of this project [2]. The unique thing is to use Israels military airfields for civilian purposes.
